Kit contains: 1 large oval logo hatch cover, 1 Trim-Lok, 2 strap kits and the needed screws and washers to complete a new hatch installation. Hatch Cover is approximately 24.25 x 15 inches OD. Part number 07.3012.0000.

The Pro Classic Hatch Kit is for the the Scupper Pro Classic, introduced 2009. This is the 3rd generation of this hatch cover, still much the same shape as the older covers, very shallow, with a single gasket, but much flatter, and the Ocean Kayak logo is prominently embossed. This 3rd generation kit is made for the 2009 Scupper Pro Classic. Following the enclosed instructions will lead to secure and safe hatch replacement or install, on a 2009 Scupper Pro Classic, as the manufacture intended.
Naturally you will want to replace a lost or damaged cover with one as near to the original as possible. Cross generational replacements might be made to work adequately with some effort. The problem will be in making the gaskets seal properly. New installation on a kayak that has never had a hatch before may, or may not, present a problem. The above information will also apply to the handful of other Ocean Kayak brand boats that originally were outfitted with the Pro Hatch.
