Best used as replacement hatch straps and fittings for classic Current Designs kayak models such as the Solstice, Pisces and Libra outfitted with the large trapezoid hatch cover on the stern deck.
Kit Contents: A dozen 1/4 inch Tube Clamps, six 1 Inch D-Rings, a dozen Pop Rivets, a dozen feet of 1 Inch Webbing Strap, four 1 Inch Tri Glides, and two 1 Inch Side Release Buckles.
How To: Drill out existing rivets. Apply Tube Clamps to D-Rings and secure to deck with rivets. Cut web strap into three parts, two very short the other quite long (using the existing straps as a guide). Apply Tri-Glides to the short straps to affix to the middle pair of D-Rings and to one Side Release Buckle. Snap the center strap buckle and strap across the middle of the hatch cover. Apply one Tri-Glide to affix the female buckle on the long strap. Thread the free end of the long strap through the forward and aft D-Rings to make the X pattern. Affix the male buckle onto the long strap. Snap the female and male buckle parts together. Tighten both long and short straps. Trim off any excess leaving an extra amount to grasp and for good measure. See related videos and web pages at the links below.

Later model Current Designs kayaks can be retrofit with standard Hatch Straps or webbing strap components.
