Note from Shop Proprietor: We do not know what kayak model Merle put this seat into. This seat is common in a range of the most modern Old Town kayaks. Merle is 100% correct. The application of a seat that is NOT original will be difficult and in some cases impossible. He is also correct that this seat is not as comfortable as other seats, such as the ACS seat.

The only seat that will 100% fit into your kayak without any trouble is the seat that the kayak was originally outfitted with. ALL other non-original seats (most assumed to be discontinued) can expect engineering challenges, minor or major, during retrofit.

Your options for complete seat replacement are severely limited. This is one of those few options. Consider seat replacement carefully.
