I've had two sets of these for years now and they are the best. They keep you from nicking your paint or starring your windshield as you toss the straps around to secure your boats. Then you can flat roll the excess strap into the burrito and Velcro it in a secure, tidy package. How secure? I, ahem, sometimes drive in excess of the speed limit on the freeway with one or more boats on my car and I have never had one come undone. (Speed limits in my state top out at 70 so somewhere beyond there. :) )
