While these are very nice knee straps the Contour Bungee Thigh Straps are a bit over the top in my opinion. What I mean by that is that the bungee tensioning system is something I feel is unnecessary. I wear my knee straps rather tightly, so maybe this is a feature I do not need. Someone must have felt the need for it and there must be more than one out there.

The bungee tensioning system holds the straps firmly against the legs even while the paddler relaxes and lets their legs spread to the sides. This gives the paddler an “at the ready” feeling. Simply pull your knees closer and get full control of the kayak.
