Kajak Sport Pro Skeg Kit with Flange

I installed this on a 30 plus year old kayak that I restored. The boat did not track well, at times it appeared to have a mind of its own when it came to direction. This skeg was magic. The kayak still turns well but it now tracks like it is on rails. The sides of the skeg sleeve were a bit concave, had I not forced wedges into the sleeve (see instructions) while the epoxy holding it in set, retracting the skeg would have been difficult if not impossible. An easy work around. I do recommend this product. I did delay installation because I was nervous about cutting a hole in the bottom of my kayak, now I wish I had done it as soon as the skeg arrived.
