Pros:
Everything you need to create your own cargo hold, etc...
Easy to install!
Inexpensive!

Cons:
Would like a bit more shock cord for more customization
Would like some kind of reference (like spacing, etc...) for beginners like myself...

I received my kit priority mail about 5 days after placing my order. After reading the basic instructions on how to attach the kit to my kayak, I sat down and laid out the materials. I attached the strap eyes to my kayak with tape roughly where I thought I wanted them to go. I laid out the shock cord over the straps and made the proper adjustments to accommodate the length of the cord. After measuring and spacing out the straps, I drilled the recommended size holes and the screws fit very snug (this is a good thing). The Well Nuts were simple to attach since my kayak is a sit-in style. The whole process took around 30 minutes, most of the time spent on planning and measuring. The end hooks attach easily to the shock cord and are easy to take off and adjust if needed. For newbies like myself, I would have liked to see a bit more cord and a generic spacing guide. Then again, I understand that this is a customization kit and no 2 people will use the same design on their kayaks... All in all an excellent product!

PS. I added 2 brass clips for additional storage ability.
