This comes to me from a reliable source who has used the Sealect "Classic" hatch cover (same fit as the buoyant "Performance" version): "The round covers by Sealect Designs (aka Sea Dog), DO NOT leak and are GOOD. It fits a kayak originally equipped with Valley Canoe Products hatch and VCP rims."
