Review by Tom Holtey, Shop Proprietor. When Sealect Designs first came out (circa 2009) with the Classic version oval shape VCP hatch cover it was known to leak a bit. These reviews may still be out on the internet. Sealect has since corrected the problem and discontinued the Classic version of this cover. The buoyant Performance version of this cover has never leaked. Both TopKayaker and Sealect warrant this cover against failure.
