Mad River Seat Pad Kit (with push rivets)

Comes with push rivets! Use as a replacement seat pad, or for new installation. This pad is common on the Mad River Adventure 14 and 16, and Destiny canoes. May also be found on some Wilderness Systems brand sit-in kayaks, such as the Pamlico 100 and the Perception child's kayak Prodigy XS. Can be used on many makes and models of kayaks, at the users discretion. Seat pad is 16 in. by 11 in. One half inch thick. Back rivet holes are approximately 9 inches on center. This pad is also sold under the Harmony brand as the F.A.T. seat pad, #8025261. Comes with push rivets, some drilling is required for new installation, instructions not available.

The Mad River Seat Pad Kit is easy to install. Place the pad on the seat to mark the locations of the holes. Drill the holes. Use the push-in rivets to secure the pad. Select a drill bit size that is rather of tight, so the rivet ribs get a good grip. You can always make the hole larger, never smaller. (Do not drill holes into sit-on-top kayak seats.) CSSOUT
