Two Snap Hooks can be used in combination with the Pad Eyes and Well Nuts Kit as a Lifetime kayak seat strap solution. It is simple to do. Remove the Lifetime Seat Strap Fitting from the strap (you may have to cut the plastic fitting off, do not cut strap). Slide this snap hook through the loop sewn on the end of the webbing strap (one each side). Mount the pad eyes very close to the orignal seat strap anchor locations. You have the option to remove the orignal deck fittings on the kayak or not. Clip the snap hooks (that are now on your seat straps) to the pad eyes (that are now on your kayak).
