The Sonic Back Band provides the optimum level of back support without interfering with your full range of motion. The Tri-laminate thermal molded construction gives the paddler a great blend of comfort and structural support. Add a Seat Pad to complete the comfort. The Sonic back band is 17 inches long by 6.5 inches high. Fits many models of kayaks, some modification to your kayak is likely to be required. Mounts with rear and front straps. Similar to classic Bomber Gear back bands. GENERICOUT
Some Assembly Required! Comes with both New and Old Instructions. See the Sonic Back Band Video to gain some insight. The straps are fully customizable and adjustable. See Rear Side Large Photo. Strap assembly requires scissors and a lighter. Forward strap mounting will require seat screws to be backed out, or some mounting hardware (rivets or screws and washers). Rear strap mounting will require drilling slots in the cockpit coaming, or mounting some footmans loops.
The Sonic Back Band Kit comes with: 1 Molded Back Support, 10 feet of 1 inch webbing strap and three each tri-glides and super locks. Expect to trim the web strap to length.

Originally made for white water kayaks on fresh water. Older Sonic Back Bands (used on salt water) can be restored with a plastic super lock to swap out the metal cam buckle. There is no need to change the stainless steel tri-glide.
