Backing Plate for 8 in. Hobie-Viking Hatch Rim

Backing plate for the 8 inch Viking or Hobie Twist Lock Hatch. This will not support a hanging bag. Plate serves as a structural backing. The ring is split so it can pass inside the cut-out hole in the deck. Standard six screw hole pattern. 10 7/8 inches OD, 9 1/8 inches ID, screw hole 10 1/8 on center.

Best used for retrofits of Cobra 10 inch, Viking 8 inch and Hobie 8 inch Hinge Hatch when using the Sea-Lect 10 inch Rubber Hatch Kit. The Hobie Hatch Install Video will shed some light on the matter.
