Sea-Lect Oval Hatch Rim (VCP)

For use with the Valley Canoe Products oval rubber hatch cover. A Sea-Lect, aka Sea Dog product. Rim base is 18 5/16 by 11 1/8 inches outside dimensions. Can be installed on a flat area of the deck of the same dimensions. Use a replacement for a VCP cracked rim, or as a new install on a flat deck kayak. This rim has a smaller footprint than the original Valley rim, but the lip dimensions are identical. HATRIM

Rim LIP dimensions are 17 ¼ by 10 inches O.D. Inside opening of hatch dimensions are 16 3/8 by 9 inches.

This rim is commonly used with the US made Sea Lect brand Valley style oval hatch cover. This rim can be used with Valley Canoe Products Imported Oval Hatch. 

The footprint of this rim is smaller than Necky Part Number 07.2511.0000, but the lip dimensions are identical. This rim can be used with Necky Oval Hatch.
