Best used for replacement parts or for custom rudder installations. Does not include the Keepers Foot Brace Rails and Keepers Foot Pegs. Control cables are not included. This is also sold as the Keepers Foot Control Kit for Rudders, a complete set.

This kit comes with a hardware pack; screws and rubber washers (for mounting to the hull), as well as copper swags and shrink tube (for mounting control cables). Ask us about an applicable instruction sheet.

The Keepers Slider Tracks allow the Keepers Foot Braces to slide forward and back, pulling the cables and thus controlling the angle of the rudder blade. (Keepers Slider Tracks and Keepers Foot Braces are not typically needed when purchasing a rudder kit.) Tracks are 15 1/2 inches long by 1 ½ inches wide, bolt holes are 14 5/8 inches on center.

The Keepers Slider Tracks are sold as one pair. (alternative part numbers 9810073, 9800327 and 17010021).

Prior to 2005 Perception used a narrower version of slide tracks that may have 3-4 screw holes each. This wider version of the Keepers tracks and rails replaces the old version, in use since 2005. New tracks and rails are not compatible with older Keeper Rails, or older Keeper Tracks. This kit can be used in older Perception and Aquaterra kayaks with the the addition of the new version of the Keepers Rails (and you can re-use your older Keeper5 pegs. Contact us at link above for more info regarding replacement of older metal tracks. There are no other tracks known to us that are compatible with old or new Keepers Rails.
