Plastic Rudder Gudgeon (Salvage Part)

Best used for rounder stern end kayaks, as an alternative to the majority of flat stern gudgeon and the Gudgeon for Pointed Stern. This is a molded plastic gudgeon that has been cut off the stern of a dead Perception brand kayak (like an organ donor). It takes the 3/8 inch diameter pin (aka Long Pin). Your pin must be about 3 inches long for a fit (this includes extra length for the Rudder Pin Ring). 

This is a salvage part, expect it to show some scratches and cut marks.

This gudgeon is plastic molded and can be easily cut, drilled, screwed or riveted onto the stern of a kayak. It can be heated to change the shape slightly.

This rudder bracket, aka gudgeon, is cut to approximately 4.5 inches long, 2.5 inches in height, 5 inches wide. The hole for the pintle is 3/8 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches deep (top to bottom).
