Replacement rudder assembly for solo kayaks made by Necky, Ocean Kayak and Old Town (circa 2004 to date). Fits Modern Johnson Watercraft brand kayaks, including the Ocean Kayak Malibu Pedal (solo kayak). Parts included with 07.2186.0000: 1 Rudder Body (07.2685.0000), 1 Solo Blade (07.2684.0000) and hardware.
The pivot pin screw and nut are not included. Control cables are not included. Use 4mm Deck Line as your rudder rope. This rudder assembly is best used with straight Steel Cable and Crimps, see also Foot Control Straps that secure to the cable with Thimbles.
A larger Tandem rudder assembly (with Blade number 07.2683.0000) is suggested for kayak sailing and two-man kayaks. Solo and Tandem flat blades are available. RMRDR
Fits only those kayaks with a four screw Necky Rudder Bracket (07.2689.0000) Sold Separately. This bracket is common on Ocean Kayak sit-on-tops, Old Town and Necky brand kayaks (circa 2004-2005 to date).
