You can use Close Cell Foam to make your own plugs for older OK Scrambler XT kayaks, older Wilderness Systems sit-on-top kayaks and some Prijon kayaks, as well as other makes and models of sit-on kayaks with large or irregular shaped scupper drains. The soft squishy foam rubber conforms to shape. Some assembly is required. Foam is easy to cut to shape and skewer with cord. Use the Contact Us link above for details.
The Classic Ocean Kayak Scupper Stoppers were sold as a set of four and were the only option for the Older Ocean Kayak Scrambler XT with oblong scupper holes. The Scrambler XT scupper drains were corked with blocks of foam rubber approximately 3x2x2 inches. These blocks were soft squishy foam rubber that conformed to shape of the oval holes. You can use 2 inch Close Cell Foam to make your own plugs. Your plugs can be skewered for use with 3/4 inch webbing strap, or for Bungee or Cord. This will make removal easy. The same process, or something similar, could be done for the Oval Scupper Plugs for Jackson Kayaks models; Coosa and Cruise 10. Jackson Plug dimensions: 2 3/16 inches on the long axis, 1 1/2 inches on the wide axis, 1 1/2 inches deep, with a tail 2 3/4 inches long.
The WildWasser Scupper Plug was a round tapered foam rubber cork, 3 inches in diameter at top, 2.25 inches deep, 2.5 inches in diameter at bottom. It came with an attached cord leash and often a deck fitting. It was made by WildWasser Sports USA for the German made Prijon Dephin 1-man sit-on-top kayak. A 2nd Prijon scupper plug size was 3.25 inches in diameter at top, 2.75 inches deep, 2.5 inches in diameter at bottom. Model fits are unavailable for this 2nd size. The Dry Ride Scupper Plug, Large was a cylindrical foam rubber cork, 2 3/4 inches in diameter by two inches long. It came with an attached bungee cord leash with a hook (that clipped into a deck fitting). It was made for use with older Wilderness Systems sit-on-top kayaks, circa year 2000. Only one stopper was needed for each of these Older Version Wilderness Systems models: Kaos, Freedom and Ride, older version, circa year 2000, not the modern version Ride. The original version Wilderness Systems Ride is also known as the Trinity Bay Tonga (circa 2001).
The Dry Ride Scupper Plug, Small was 1 5/8 inches in diameter by 2 inches long. Each plug was fitted with an attached bungee cord leash and hook. Made for Wilderness Systems sit-on-top kayaks: Tarpon 120: 6 Small, Tarpon 140: 6 Small, Tarpon 130T: 8 Small, Tarpon 160i: 6 Small.
The Dry Ride Scupper Plug, X-Small was very much the same as above. 1 1/4 inches in diameter by 2 inches long. Each stopper came with a bungee cord leash with a hook (that clipped into a deck fitting). Six
is the maximum number of stoppers needed for older Version Wilderness Systems models: Ripper, Tarpon 100 and older version Ride 135. This may include stoppers for the cargo well too. The original Tarpon 160 would take only two X-Small plugs.
To make your own Dry Ride Scupper Plugs use 2 inch Close Cell Foam cut with a hacksaw blade, skewer with an awl. Add Bungee or Cord to make it easy to pull out. Some Nylon Washers will make the cord complete, see details photos.

The soft squishy foam rubber will conform to the required shape, so be sure to make them a tiny bit big, some additional trimming may be required.
