Footbrace Trigger (Necky OK OT)

Replacement part for no-rudder kayaks made by Johnson Watercraft. The Foot Brace Trigger snaps into the Necky Foot Peg and secures it to the rail. Common on Necky Kayaks, as well as Modern Ocean Kayak and Old Town kayaks made by Johnson Outdoors. Expected to be compatible with some Boreal Design kayaks.

The trigger is used to adjust for leg length. This type of foot peg system has been in use by Necky Kayaks since the 1990s. The Necky Footbrace Trigger is for non-rudder kayaks and must be used with the foot peg. (Two triggers and pegs per kayak.) The trigger engages into holes in the foot brace rail to lock the peg in place. This part can be used to convert a Necky rudder foot peg into a non-rudder foot peg. Sold as a single trigger.
