Best used for classic P&H kayaks, such as the Capella made before 2004. This is expected to be compatible with the Kajak Sport Replacement Skeg with Center Wire.

This skeg pivot axel is expected to fit into a skeg slot about 1 3/8 inches wide, molded into the bottom of a plastic molded hull. The gap between the two discs, for the blade, is 1/4 inch. The diameter of each disc is 1 1/4 inches by 1/4 inch thick. Axel diameter is 1/4 inch. The overall width of this pivot part is 1 1/2 inches including the pointed nipples on each end of the axel.
