Best used as a replacement bow seat base for the Old Town Saranac canoe. Old Town part number 01.1315.0501. This is just the bare seat base. A back support and seat padding is NOT included. Use this Saranac Bow Seat Link to see the finished seat. Saranac Seat Bases; Bow, Mid and Stern, are reported to fit all Saranac models. Old Town part number 01.1315.0501 is reported as the same as 01.1315.0524.

Seat Base is 32 inches wide, about 12 inches tall (when measured from a flat surface), almost 24 inches front to back. Expect to drill your own mounting hardware holes (re-use original hardware if possible).

Expect your canoe to be outfitted with a block of Foam Rubber under the seat as supplemental flotation (dimensions are unknown). There will be long pins molded into the sea base to stab into the foam.
