Stainless Steel Thimble (3/16)

For 3/16 inch rope or cable. A Sea-Lect, aka Sea Dog product. Ideal for restoration of Aquaterra rudder rope system, common in the 1990s and found on some perception kayaks too. See the Rudder Rope Tension Line Kit for more related parts.

Thimbles are used to protect cable, wire, cordage or rope from contact with the load it is in tension. Use for general rigging applications such as 3/8 inch heavy duty rudder cable (NOT idea for smaller 1/16 inch cable).
