This is the gunwale trim section above the transom, at the back end of the canoe. It also serves as handles.

Approximately 23 inches at the widest part. Short sides are about 9 inches long. The long side is about 20 inches. the open side is about 18.5 inches I.D.

This 01.1331.3183 transom cap appears to be identical to the discontinued Old Town part number 01.1331.2563, that was also called TRANSOM CAP SPORTS TRIMMED. Old Town part number 01.1331.2563 is a known fit to Discovery Sport 15 canoe made 2010 to to date, same or similar to those on Discovery Sport 13 and 17 canoe models.
