Excess stock from a kayak manufacture that no longer uses this hatch cover to build kayaks. These came in bulk, no packaging over wrap. Expect some dust.
Original Rubber Kajak Sport 10 inch (aka 24cm), part number 301710, best used as a replacement hatch cover for many common kayak brands, both sea touring kayaks and recreational. Fits many older Perception and Aquaterra brand kayaks, circa 1990s. The discontinued classic 10 in. hatch cover by Perception (pre 2003) is a copy of this 24cm Kajak Sport hatch. This cover can also be used as a replacement hatch cover for the 10 inch letter H rubber hatch on Heritage kayaks (fits more snugly than original). The 10 inch hatch is common on kayak brands such as Dagger, Current Designs, Eddyline, Nigel Dennis Kayaks (NDK), some P&H Kayaks and some modern Wilderness Systems composite kayaks.
Imported from Finland. (This cover is a NOT match to the rare Valley 10.5 inch round cover found on plastic hull Valley kayaks, but might be used on some composite Valley sea kayaks.) The 24cm Kajak Sport cover is made of soft flexible black rubber. Fits a raised hatch rim lip 10 inches outside diameter, like a Tupperware lid. Has internal tie-off for a leash. Cover is 10 1/2 inches outside diameter, 9 5/8 inches inside diameter. Alternative cover: US made buoyant replacement hatch cover for the Kajak Sport 24cm Hatch Cover.
