4 mm Reflective Deck Line 100 M Spool

100 meter spool for outfitters and big jobs. 4mm Reflective Static Deck line is commonly used for deck lines on the sides of a kayak and assorted kayak rigging. (This is not bungee shock cord.)

Approximately 3/16 inch diameter, solid core braided with reflective tracer line that glows when a light is shined on it, can be seen from a distance. Same as Wilderness Systems part number 9810075.

Please Note! A Wilderness Systems Tempest (circa 2005) is outfitted with Black 5mm Cord, same diameter as Reflective 5mm Cord. Some Perception brand sea kayaks are reported be outfitted with Reflective 5mm Cord. Expect many kayaks made overseas, Europe mostly, to be outfitted with 4mm static cord.

Please measure the diameter of your old cord (or the deck fitting holes) carefully! If in doubt, the smaller diameter may be the better choice. Or, get both 4mm and 5mm, extra rope is handy to have on board.
