A Skid Plate solution for all kinds of watercraft; Plastic boats (Royalex), as well as Kevlar, Dynel, or Fiberglass hulls. Best used on Canoes. The skid plates can be customized to any boat style and mold around any bow or stern for impact protection.

Comes with Two 6.25 by 32.5 inch composite skid plates and instructions. Adhesive is not included.

The install process includes heating the skid plates to conform to the hull, then cooling them to rigid form. Prep work on the hull involves cleaning and sanding the hull for a strong bond.

You will need a liquid adhesive such as G/flex 655 thickened epoxy, a heat gun (and propane torch for polyethlene hulls), gloves (to protect hands from heat), a caulk gun (depending on what you use for adhesive) and other simple tools and supplies.
