This is a Kerfed piece, meaning it has an extra bit on the edge of the flat side. Made of ash wood. 4 foot long. Approximately 3/4 by 3/4 inches in cros section. WOODCANOE

Re-use your orignal screws or get new screws; Screws for Composite Hull or Screws for Royalex Hull.
