Pre-2010 Valley Skeg Slider (for composite hull)

Replacement Valley Mushroom Skeg Slider common only on Older Composite Valley Sea Kayaks made before 2010. May fit other boats with the Valley cable skeg system. For use a stainless steel skeg tube (early models) or with the long carbon fiber tube (late models). 1 1/2 inches long, 1 1/8 deep, 3/4 inch wide, with two holes; one smaller and a 2nd 1/4 inch (6mm) diameter skeg tube hole.

The larger lower hole if for a 6mm stainless steel skeg tube or 6mm carbon fiber tube. The skeg cable will be in that tube, a hole in the tube let the set screw pinch the cable. The set screw hole extends through the small hole into the large to hold the skeg cable.
