Extra positive replacement thigh hooks for an aggressive fit in the cockpit. Common on some plastic hull Valley Sea Kayaks. Fits many Valley brand plastic kayaks (best used on Valley 3 layer polyethylene hulls). Use as an upgrade to the standard version. Might fit other brands of kayaks too.

Thighbraces are approximately 7 3/8 inches long by 3 3/4 inches wide, about 3 inches thick at the maximum of the hook. Made of rubber like material. Screw holes are 4 1/2 inches on center. Comes with mounting hardware.

*It is difficult to align the screw with the nut, more so than many other similar things. The staff at Valley Canoe Products will attribute any difficulties with this product to user error and will NOT warrant this product as defective or replace, as such neither can we.

You must be very careful driving the screws. A false start will cross thread and it is nearly impossible to recover from that if you push it too far.

Please follow these instructions:
Insert the screw about one half inch by pressing it, Not Turning it.
Turn the screw counterclockwise, the wrong way, until you feel the threads of the screw and nut match up.
Now you are at the correct starting point.
Gently turn the screw clockwise and feel the threads engage.
Do Not Force it! If it feels difficult back out and try again.
