The Old Town ACS 2.0 Narrow Seat is best used as a replacement seat for an Old Town Castine and some modern Necky kayaks with a smaller cockpit. Can be used to replace Narrow Version Necky ACS 2.0 Blue Seats.
ACS 2.0 Narrow Seat Dimensions: 20 inches wide from side to side, 19.5 inches front to back. Each of the 2 seat post have pairs of screw holes 3 inches on center. The distance from side to side across the seat from the center of the right seat posts screws to the left screws is approximately 18 inches with some degree of wiggle room. It is assumed that this seat may fit some kayaks approximately 23 to 26.5 inches wide. A center bar on the floor of your kayak may prevent use of this seat. Part number 01.1331.0374.
It is completely unknown if this seat will fit the vast majority of Old Town kayaks or any other make and model of kayak. The ACS 2.0 NARROW seat is NOT at all the same as original Active Comfort System Seat or the Extrasport Xtra Comfort seat.
Other parts and hardware may be needed. The Old Town ACS 2.0 Seat Ratchet Thigh Pad Set integrates with the 3/4 inch wide straps supplied with this seat. It is also possible to swap out the straps on this seat to use the one inch wide Old Town ACS 2.0 Seat Strap Set and the ACS 2.0 Seat Bracket Set. Some Self-Adhesive Close Cell Foam might be needed under the seat. Please ask for applicable instructions to be sent to you via email.
