SmartTrack Hybrid Foil Rudder, Tandem, Mid Pin

Mid Pin Hybrid Foil rudder by SmartTrack for Tandem Kayaks. Best used as a replacement rudder on any two-man kayak that is outfitted for a Mid Pin style rudder.

The are two different rudder rope configurations listed in the in the Hybrid Rudder Instructions.
The Twin Line Configuration is a traditional rudder rope system common on many kayak brands (remove the spring from the blade for the best results).
The Single Line Configuration is spring loaded. Leave the spring on the blade and be careful not to bend or unwind the spring (we will not be replacing any unwound springs). Buy a new Smart Track Spring as needed.

The pin is 1 and 15/16 inches long with three levels of Rudder Pin Ring holes. The blade is 21.5 inches long in total length, 4.25 inches at the widest. Use this link for Hybrid Rudder Instructions. MPRDR
