Sea-Lect Recreational All Rubber version 6 inch retrofit rubber hatch cover kit. Matches some covers and rims found on common kayak brands. Comes as a kit with cover and rim. Mounting hardware and sealant are not included. Best used as a replacement hatch system for cracked rims and damaged covers. Can be used to replace poor fitting and leaking hatch covers. Use also to apply a new rim when a matching cover cannot be found, such as the Necky and Old Town Egg Shape Hatch. The cover alone can be used as a replacement for a lost cover to fit a 6 inch rim.
The hatch rim has a footprint of 7.25 inches outside diameter. The opening is 5.5 inches inside diameter. The raised hatch rim lip is 6 inches outside diameter. The kit can be applied to any kayak with a flat deck space of 7.5 inches in diameter.
Sea-Lect 6 inch round floating hatch cover is the same size as the Kajak Sport 15 centimeter rims rubber hatch cover common on assorted kayak brands. Made of soft black rubber that fits a raised lip 6 7/16 inches outside diameter, like a Tupperware lid. Has external and internal tie-offs for a leash. Cover is 7 inches outside diameter, 6 1/4 inches inside diameter. Can be used as a replacement day hatch cover for the Perception Vizcaya, circa 1999-2002.
