Kajak-Sport LRC-HT series is the latest Kajak Sport hatch development. HT stands for the hard top in the center of the cover. The LRC hatch has a rigid centre area that is a bit smaller which increases stretch ability of the cover to improve watertightness and allow more variation on the accuracy of measurement of the rim.
Best used as a replacement rubber hatch cover for narrow oval hatches. Common on many sea touring kayaks. Fits a raised hatch rim lip 18 5/16 by 11 1/16 inches O.D., like a Tupperware lid. Has internal tie-off for a leash. Cover is 18 3/4 by 11 5/8 inches outside diameter, 17 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches inside diameter.
A KajakSport oval Replacement rim for this 44x26cm rubber cover is available. It can be used as an upgrade for existing hatch systems of a similar size. Rim lip 18 5/16 x 11 1/16 inches OD, 17 1/2 by 10 1/8 ID. Imported.
