The Freedom Elite Seats (hi and lo) are easy to restore with AirPro Seat Parts (late models) or with Phase3 Seat Parts (early models). Please see the AirPro Parts Info Page and the Phase3 Parts Info Page. See also Freedom Elite Specific Parts.
If you have a damaged seat it may be repairable, contact us about that. If you have lost a seat, or your seat is beyond repair, you can hunt for a second hand seat. The low version was the stock option, the high version was the upgrade option. This means that some Ride owners could have two seats! There are likely situations where someone has an extra seat that they are willing to part with. There may be some kayak shops that still have a new-old-stock seat.
These Freedom Elite Seats (hi and lo) fit the Wilderness Systems Ride 115 and 135, circa 2012 - 2019. Also fit the Commander 120 and 140 circa 2010-2017. Other Ride kayaks will take a different seat.
Information on retrofitting the Ride or Commander with seats for other makes and models of kayaks is not available.
The WS AirPro Freedom Elite Kayak Seat, for the Ride and Commander kayaks, is a contoured seat and seat back designed with increased comfort in mind. Multiple-sized holes in the special foam padding produce varying densities to provide extra cushioning along the spine and under the legs while comfortably supporting the sit bones. The flexible back rest features a cutaway for spinal support and a more rounded design to conform to your back; the seat's leg lifter area has a softer edge and is more contoured to your thighs. The Air Pro version features carefully selected material over the perforated foam, greatly improving ventilation so you and your seat breathe and dry out quickly. Ergonomically located controls make adjustments simple and easy while out on the water.
