WS No. 5 Neoprene Hatch Cover

Replacement neoprene hatch cover for Wilderness Systems kayaks, including the bow of Cape Horn 17 and 15 foot sea kayaks. See Fits, below, for details. This is the inner stretchy fabric cover that goes under the hard outer cover. Both inner neoprene cover and hard outer covers must be used to create a dependable waterproof seal. Please make sure to view the linked information on this page.

• Hatch Rim Dimensions: approximately 10.5 x 14.75 inches
• Fits: bow of Cape Horn 17 and 15 foot sea kayaks, Cape Horn 150, 170 and plastic Sealution circa 1987.
• Shape: oval

Additional Information

May fit other kayaks outfitted with this type and size of neoprene inner cover and a hard outer cover, such as the bow of the EMS Shearwater sea kayak. Also, a probable fit for the stern of the Cape Horn 140, and appears to be a fit for the bow of the SeaScape (Northwest kayaks). Note: This cover will come marked as Wilderness Systems #5 or Cape Horn 17 Bow.
