VCP style oval hatch cover and rim, (referred to as the 17 1/4 x 10). This cover and rim kit is best used for new installations. Matches Valley Canoe Products oval hatch cover, common on many British style sea kayaks. This kit can be used to retrofit Meriwether Kayaks. Sea-Lect Designs buoyant performance hatch covers are made of high-grade dual density material for strength and durability. Special UV protection shields against sun damage. Sea-Lect (aka Sea Dog) hatches are sealed with TPU, which provides superior resistance to impact, abrasions and tears regardless of the conditions and weather.
