Long Pin. Universal stainless steel rudder bracket for kayaks with a pointed stern. Best used for kayaks that do not come with a factory manufactured gudgeon.
Can be used to attach the SeaLect Trucourse rudder system and other rudder brands. Fits most pointed stern kayaks. This mounting gudgeon can be used for most Long Pin style Rudder Assemblies. Can be used with Long Pin style Rudder Kits. This rudder bracket can be used as one part only (see large image). The L-Shape portion can be mounted alone and could be used for the Cobra Tourer, Aquaterra-Perception Kahuna and Synchro kayaks.
The gudgeon has an adjustable two part construction, made of stainless steel. See Large Image for alternative view to understand the adjustable nature of the item. A Takes a 3/8 inch rudder pin. B 2 3/8 inches high. C 3 ¼ inch flexible side V-bar. D 4 inch rigid top deck plate. E 1 inch wide. 6 total screw holes drilled for rivets, 10-32 pan head machine screws, or no. 10 stainless steel self-tapping screws.
