Add or replace a pair of handles on your kayak. Comfort Carry Handles are common on Perception, and Wilderness Systems kayaks. Found on bow and stern, on the sides of sit-on-top kayaks and in cockpit centers on some sit-on kayaks. Rubber grip is 5 inches long, webbing strap is 1 in. wide. Strap is a total of 10 inches long. Use extended or tucked. Screw Holes on webstrap are spaced at 9 inches with handle strap flat and unfolded, about 4 inches with ends tucked under (as shown). The handle can fit a wide range of screw spacing on deck, about 4 – 9 inches. (aka 3290-0102). Sold as a pair, no mounting hardware This is the best option for the discontinued D-Style Handle. Also sold as singles at this link: Bow-Stern-Side-Handle.

If you are replacing old handles use your old screws and washers. If you should need to replace your screws and washers get the Handle Hardware Pack.

For new installations where handles have not been before use the Handle Hardware Pack only if you can reach inside the kayak.

For new installation of handles, where you cannot reach inside, use two rivets and two ¾ inch stainless steel washers, per handle. Rivets and washers are available in single quantity and as bulk pack packs in our Hardware department.

If custom installing new handles, as side grips on a sit-on-top kayak, carefully find the center balance point before drilling any holes. Also check the location to make sure the handle is not in the way of your paddle stroke, or presents a problem during deep-water re-entry.
