The SmartTrack Mid Pin blade housing installs on Wilderness Systems kayaks that use the metal Wilderness Systems Rudder bracket or the plastic BTS bracket (shown to right on blue kayak). The Smart Track Mid Pin Bracket can also be used. This type of bracket will be needed for new installation, on a Wilderness Systems kayak, or flat stern kayak, that has not had a rudder before. Fully 
compatible with kayaks outfitted Classic Wilderness Systems rudders (shown to left use link left) and brackets. Fits other kayaks with similar bracket or a short vertical hole all the way through the rear of the kayak. Pin measures 3/8 inches diameter and is 2 inches long. The blade housing is Teflon coated 6061-T6 extruded alloy is extremely rugged and corrosion proof. Includes Cool Rudder Wedgies, Lift line and cleat as well as instructions and all other hardware for this housing. Mounting is similar to the Instructions for Long Pin Housing (pin) and the Instructions for Rear Mount Housing (bracket). MPRDR
