Best used as rear replacement back band straps for Confluence brand kayaks: Dagger, Perception, Wave Sport and Wilderness Systems. The six inch strap is three quarters of an inch wide. Comes with male buckles that mate with the female buckles already on your back band.
Note! Two types of ITW Nexus buckles are found on these kayaks. They are not interchangeable.
Some back band buckles are marked TSR 75. It is assumed these TSR 75 are common on Wilderness Systems kayaks made before 2013, and some kayaks made circa 2016 to 2018, mostly Dagger and Perceptions. There are 4 tiny dividers in the TSR 75 female part.
Other buckles are marked Nexus/A (followed by a 2 digit number), presumed to be common on kayaks made after 2013 and some kayaks made 2016 to date mostly Wilderness Systems. The Nexus/A male has four prongs (two center prongs very close), there are two tiny dividers in the female Nexus/A. This Nexus/A style of buckle is often called the World Side Release or WSR. (Or called deviation buckle by Confluence.) Use link to A version.
Use the Ask Tom link above if necessary. You are purchsing the the TSR 75 version buckle!
The strap has a screw hole and is often used as the lower strap for white water kayaks, or both the upper and lower straps for touring kayaks (Phase3 XP touring outfitting). Confluence back bands typically have 1 lower rear strap (connects to seat bottom) and two upper rear straps (connects to cockpit coaming). These are not to be confused with the main support strap (one inch wide) in a forward orientation. (This part is also known as the 7.5 inch strap, but only has 6 inches or workable strap more or less.) Sold as a pair. Alternative Confluence part numbers 9800469, 15440041 aka 3235-1315 have no bearing on buckle type.
