Rudder Cable Swage, 100 pack

100 Rudder cable crimps. Best used for kayak fleets. Have on hand for repairs. For use with 1/16 in. stainless steel rudder cable, as found in the Replacement Rudder Cables and/or for use with Stainless Steel Thimbles. Common on many kayaks, suitable for all brands of kayak. Zinc Plated Copper. Use as a Nicopress sleeve. To use: Crimp the swage by squeezing it very tightly with a Rudder Cable Crimper Cutter Tool or Vice Grips. You may need to squeeze it a couple times. Carefully cut off the waste end of the cable close to the swage. If you placed a second swage on the cable it can be slipped over the frayed end and squeezed in place, covering the sharp wires, and adding extra security. Alternatively: Wind some duct tape over the frayed end if necessary. 100 Rudder cable crimps.
