Shoulder Screw for Dagger Integral Rudder

Replacement Shoulder Screw for Dagger Integral Rudder found on Dagger kayaks; Sitka, Latitude, Atlantis and Baja. See this screw in the photo to the right as the center cable screw at the 9 O'clock position. One Inch Long Screw, stainless steel with flat head and 8-32 thread size. The Dagger Integral Rudder Release Kit fastens to this screw.

Other Dagger Integral Rudder parts such as the spring and assorted screws should be available from hardware supply sources. Cover Plate Latches for the Sitka and Meridian will be difficult to source and may have to be improvised, contact us about that.

The rudder blade and pin is not available and is best repaired or fabricated on your own. The Metal Disc, Metal Triangle (shown to right) and Cover Plate are not available as replacement parts.

It is strongly recommend to replace the Bungee Cord to prevent loss of the discontinued cover plate and to prevent loss or damage of the clockwork parts under it. See also Rivets and Cable Clamps to secure bungee.
