This kit can be used to convert an AirPro recreational seat back, old or new, into a sea touring style back support in about 10-20 minutes. This kit is quite generic and can be applied to nearly any sit-in-side kayak. See the Phase 3 Seat Video to get some basic information on how to perform this operation. Part 1 shows retrofit of the Phase 3 day touring seat back into a Phase 3XP sea touring back band. Part 2 shows the reassemble of the Phase 3 day touring seat including details on the spring and plunger, T-grip, cord lock and seat back riser. Part 3 shows the addition of the Hip Pad Kit.

Suggested parts are: Some 1 inch tri-glides (need only two), Six feet of 1 inch wide webbing strap, One 3/4 inch tri-glide, One 3/4 inch side release buckle and Two feet of 3/4 inch wide webbing strap.
