Best used to replace a lost or broken Push Rod Leash or Shroud Retraction Bungee for a Kayak Sailor rig. This kit comes with two glove hooks and 3 feet length of small diameter bungee cord.

This kit performs two functions. Get one of one function, or get two for complete overhaul of these parts. Your Kayak Sailor rig essentially came with two of these.

Push Rod Leash: The intent is for the hooks to clip onto the push rods that control lee boards with the bungee cord across the deck of a sit-in-side kayak. Sit-on-top and IK kayakers might want to get two Push Rod Leash Kits and build two short leashes. This will allow you to clip one glove hook onto the push rod, and the other to a fitting or line on the gunwale, duplicate each side. This will eliminate to the need of the bungee coming over your legs.

Shroud Retraction Bungee: This cord passes through an eyelet on the forward edge of the Mast Car (as the center). The cord leads out from the center to each the Mast Shrouds (red and white cordage) port and starboard. The cord is tied to a glove hook each side with the hook clipped to the shroud.
