Best used as a replacement aftermarket retrofit part to address the discontinued central block and pin for an Aquaterra (aka Perception) brand rudder assembly, circa 1990s and year 2000, common on Spectrum, Sea Lion, Chinook, and Prism sea kayaks (maybe some Hydra kayaks too).
Overall length, including pin, is 4 3/4 inches long 3/8 inch diameter. Block is 2 1/16 front to back, 7/8 inches thick, 1 1/2 inches high. A single hole is drilled on the end of the pin (for a Rudder Pin Ring). Pin Length, from bottom of block to rudder pin hole is 3 1/4 inches. The depth of the rudder bracket should not exceed 3 inches. Three holes at 3/16 inch each and several slots are machined into the block. You will have to disassemble your rudder and reassemble it without instructions, but it is easy to do.
This is a good option is to restore some, but not all, Long Pin style rudder assemblies. This is not a match to the 2-Screw Rudder Block and Pin. RBAP
