Best used as a rudder kit for new install, or as replacement rudder assembly, for most solo models of Prijon kayaks. This is the most recent version rudder kit, with a glass fiber reinforced plastic blade. This kit can be used on all Prijon kayaks with the modern Prijon Rudder Bracket or the classic Prijon Rudder Brackets (shown) that is pre-mounted on the kayak (not included, assumed to be on the kayak already).
This kit is compatible for new install or as a replacement rudder for older Prijon kayaks previously outfitted with the Wildwasser Rudder or the Balanced Wing Rudder.
Each Kit comes with: A rudder assembly, lift rope, cables and foot control straps. The rudder rest is not included, assumed to be on the kayak already, as well as the rudder cable tubes and fairings. Other small hardware parts may be needed for complete overhauls and new install, May come with instruction sheet, possibly in German!
