Neoprene Emergency Hatch Cover is best used for 8 inch O.D. (outer dimension) round VCP rims. This is an emergency hatch cover only. It will never seal like your original rubber cover that fit like Tupperware. Carry as a spare in your emergency kit. When used as an emergency hatch cover it is best to finish your trip asap and replace with the proper rubber hatch cover; (see link below). Constructed with grippy rubber on the inside and neoprene fabric face on the outside. Recommended by sea kayak instructor coaches as safety gear. Note: Cover will be labeled Valley 8 in.
