The tuilik is a very warm and dry traditional paddling garment for paddling in unforgiving cold conditions of the arctic. It is meant to be roomy and not restrict movement in any way. Made with 3mm nylon two side neoprene and grippy skin rubber on the shock cord casing with 1/4 inch adjustable bungee around base. Fine tune the fit with the 1 inch nylon webbing adjuster straps over shoulders and Velcro cinches at the wrists. The color is black.
Fits standard Greenland style kayaks with a cockpit up to 18 x 27 inches to outside edge of lip. Custom fits for boats with larger cockpits up to 19 x 35 inches and-or brown color, available by Special Order.
Sizes Options: Small, Medium, Med-Lrg, Large and Extra Large. It is recommended that the tuilik be purchased to be large and loose fitting. Size Small fits pre teen children, not practical for adults.
Small if you are under 5 feet and under 100 lbs, this is really a child size.
Medium if you are under 5 feet 5inches and under 130 lbs but larger than size Small.
Medium-Large if you are under 5 feet 9 inches, under 160 lbs, larger than size Medium.
Large if you are under 6 feet and under 190 lbs but larger than size Medium-Large.
Extra Large if you are over 6 feet and over 190 lbs.
