EM 89 Adhesive-Sealant

Use for bonding and sealing of kayak bulkheads and hatch rims on plastic and fiberglass kayaks. A one component, room temperature curing, clear adhesive for use on hard to bond substrates, like polyethylene plastic.
Manufactures Statement: Custom formulated, tested, and sold for bulkhead sealing to kayak manufacturers. EM 89 was custom designed specifically for long term adhesion to roto-molded polyethylene. It's extreme elastomer content is intentional resulted in its being the sole sealant to pass long-term cold impact tests. Sold in bulk to kayak manufacturers since 2011, this custom product has proven itself through rigorous field application and is now the most widely used bulkhead sealant by to kayak manufacturers in North America.
