Fine Thread Ocean Kayak Drain plug. Fits Ocean Kayak boats made Late-1990s through 2014 with fine threads molded into the deck. Also know as the Ocean Kayak Threaded Drain Plug (07.3031.0000). The Beckson drain plug may fit other brands of kayaks with or without a drain plug base. A Fine Threaded plug fits some Islander, Bic Kayaks, Delta, Emotion, Hobie, Jackson, Pelican, Coleman and other brands of kayaks.
Ocean Kayak brand boats of the early 1990s take a No. 3 Rubber Stopper or the OK Rubber Drain Plug, aka the 1st Version. Ocean Kayak boats made Late-1990s through 2014 take this Fine Thread Plug, aka the 2nd Version. Ocean Kayak boats made 2014 and after, aka the 3rd Version, take the Sea-Lect Drain Plug 2 pack or the Sea Dog Drain Plug for Ocean Kayak boats made.
This 2nd Version FINE Thread Screw-In Plug is equipped with a retention clip to keep it from getting lost and can be removed if necessary. (A string tied to handle or strap eye can also be used.) The plug seals with a small black O-Ring to prevent leaks. Base is not included and not needed if the kayak is molded for fine threads or a base is already on your kayak.
